When I launch TDE on my computer; I get this error.....

I get an unable to parse package error upon trying to install the apk on my phone. Any ideas?

rowman, another PR here (Problem Report): the Android part of TDE requires AutoRemote. Giving that I am subscribed to Joao's apps, I have AutoRemote Lite. Please try to fix the issue somehow.

rowman updated [ALPHA] Tasker Desktop Editor with a new update entry:

New Android App

I created a new Android standalone App that communicates with TDE on the computer. It connects to TDE over WiFi and sends/ receives the backup file.
Temporarly, I removed the AutoInput implementation to import/export the backup file - this is on my ToDo for the next version.

Keep in mind that both, the Android and PC App, are still alpha versions.

I tried it again, but I see something stange:

All the entry tasks of the profiles, simply show the first task from the fist project.

And here the screenshots from my phone:

That was a tricky visual bug ... fixed in next version!

- crash fix: receive backup while TDE is running in the background

I solved my issue - I had an outdated version of JAVA, once I updated things started working. Now to try v 0.1.7. V 0.1.6 looked good, made editing my existing projects so much easier. I have yet to try to create new profiles/tasks.

Tried several different backup files but always get "Could not load userbackup.xml file. Load an empty backup file or select a new one?"
