Couldn't find documentation about this for AutoNotification, only for AutoTools.
What would I need to enter in the time Format field of AutoNotification to display Chronometer Count Down time in mm:ss?
    Thanks!

The time format field is not for the output, but for the input :) It's an alternative for specifying the time in milliseconds since epoch. The output format will always be the same. Hope this clarifies it!

What would I need to do to count down to a time in minutes and seconds?

In Tasker use a variable set action to set %time to %TIMEMS + 120000 (enable do maths). Then use the %time variable in AutoNotification :) This will create a countdown of 2 minutes (because 120000 milliseconds is 2 minutes). Hope this helps

Try enabling the "Chronometer Count Down" option and see if that helps.

Is there a way to get it to show as the status bar text instead of needing to open the notification?
