    Hello,
I understand that Query pulls package names data from apps. I would like to have a small Task that would make use of this and return the needed package name of any app when the Task is run. I assume it would need a popup to allow typing in the app name to be researched, and should end with either a long flash display of the package name or perhaps pasting the package name to the clipboard.
Is this possible, reasonably uncomplicated, and if so, can anyone please get me (new to Tasker) started with a template or example script?
Thank you very much for reading,
    Logan

The easiest way would be to use the Tasker built-in action called "Variable Query".
Then use the resulting variable for that with the AutoLaunch query action to get the package name :)

    Hope this helps!
