AutoVoice Unable to Replace Assistant to autoVoice

    Hi ...
    I like to give commands when screen is Off. So I am trying to make autovoice to respond even when the screen is off like you have featured in Youtube

    .

    I did like this
    1. Go to settings > assistant & Voice Input
    2. Selected AutoVoice hotword detection
    3. for Voice input, I'm unable to choose autoVoice as it grayed out

    .. If I say "ok google" nothing is happening. but If I hold the Home button Autovoice is poping up...
    what should I do..?

    Maybe your device doesn't support it? What is selected for Voice Input on your device?

    As you can see in screenshots it's google selected default. Google basic recognise is the only option I can select. Auto voice is grayed out

    Oh sorry, missed the screenshots. That option is actually not supposed to be enabled. Did you setup "Ok Google" for the google assistant beforehand? You have to do that for it to work with AutoVoice. :)

    Yeah.. I'm already using the google assistant before this with "ok google " and " hey google" commands. GA is working fine. I even downloaded the offline voice files for english us which is my device language..

    Very strange. That must mean that your device is not supported for some reason, sorry! :(

    I'm using redmi note 3 (kenzo) running android 8.1 *(RR official) btw
