In our office, we use dual factor authentication with Microsoft Authenticator. This requires a pop up notification where I then press either Approve or Deny to continue to login into my work machine.

I'm trying to set a Tasker Profile and AutoInput action to press this "Approved" button/text on the popup, but have yet to get it to work.

This is my first real attempt with tasker, so unsure if on the right tract or not.

Can anyone help in pointing a newbie in the right direction?

Sure :) In Tasker, have a new profile where the condition is that the Microsoft Authenticator app is open. In the task use the AutoInput Action to click the text "Approved". I think that should do it!

Hi, I played around with Microsoft Authenticator but I have the feeling (not an expert I have to admit) that the Microsoft Authenticator has some kind of protection to it. I recognizes the notifcation, and if you use the autoinput "easy setup" it also recognizes APPROVE but somehow it will not press "APPROVE" if you configure it.
