Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows when Autovoice for Alexa will be available in Canada?

I got in touch with Amazon about not supporting third party skills. Here's what they have to say.

"We do support Canada for 3rd party skills as of Dec it's possible the Developer doesn't realize it's available region now.

So back to my initial question when will this be available in Canada?

Just a follow up on this, I was hoping to get AutoVoice set up with Alexa but is still not available in my region! (I'm in New Zealand but I'm guessing Australia?)

 

Hi, I want to convince my parents to buy the Amazon Echo Dot for me. But my parents want to know with which products are compatible in this device, because I want to build my one smart home for my flat. I found some compatible products under devicebase.net/en/product/amazon-echo-dot-1st-generation/841667112367

However, I would be very grateful to you if you would help me with a complete list of compatible products as I have to convince my parents of the purchase.

Not in Canada it wont. Autovoice and tasker is still not avalible on Alexa in Canada... Alexa is basically useless here.

 

If you're in Canada you're better off with the Google Home mini as the Amazon echo may have a way better microphone (multiple actually) but has way less skills available. Auto voice is sill none existing.

Hi joaomgcd, any news on approval for the regular Alexa AutoVoice skill in Australia/New Zealand? I have a bunch of routines running with the AutoVoice Smart Home Devices, but the inability to send free form voice commands to Tasker is highly restrictive. Is the regular AutoVoice skill (like the one in the US skills store) coming to the Aus/NZ store?
