Hey there, quick question: When attempting to replace the google assistant with autovoice, when i click on autovoice hotword detection as my assist app, it gives the following error: "java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Recognition for the given keyphrase is not supported."
The result is that neither "ok google" nor "hello google" work as hotwords. Autovoice works fine otherwise in this case, including the long keypress, etc. Is something wrong on my end, or is this a known issue?

Hi there. Unfortunately changing hotwords is something that I haven't found a single device that it works on. I still kept the option in case it can be changed in the future, but for now you have to keep the default. Sorry!

Thanks for the reply. I actually haven't changed the hotwords though. Those are the two defaults that google assistant gives me (they added 'hello google' recently), and I haven't changed them in autovoice. I noticed that the hotword in autovice is listed as 'OK google.' When it's left as that is when it give the above error message. If I change it at all there is no error message, but like you said it doesn't work. So I guess autovoice just hasn't been updated yet to support google's new dual hotword setup?

Did you enable hot word recognition in Google Assistant first and only then switched to AutoVoice?

Weird! It does work on my Nexus 5X... Did you try uninstalling and re-installing the app and keeping that setting as the default and see if that helps?

Yep. Rooted it to get some autoinput stuff to work but that's it.

That's normal for the Galaxy S8 I assume. It doesn't work on all devices unfortunately. Did you change the hotword in AutoVoice?

No, that's one of the things that could cause this issue, sorry
