AutoVoice Autovoice not set up for devices set up for British English

    Google Home is giving the message above when trying to use Autovoice in the UK. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

    Nope, sorry. I need to enable it for the UK myself it seems. I thought google would do that themselves! I'll try to figure out what's wrong!

    Many thanks for the reply. Glad to know it's not entirely my incompetence that's the problem. It was driving me mad yesterday following your tutorials to the letter but not getting the same results. Interestingly, your IFTTT and Autovoice tutorial did occasionally seem to work when both my phone and Google Home were close together and heard the 'Ok Google, Autovoice Say Hello' instruction. Most of the time it doesn't work and when I say 'Talk to Autovoice' I get the message about not being set up for British English. Anyway, hope you manage to get it enabled soon, it looks a great app!

    sorry, I have since realized that Google is the one that need to add support! There's no way for developers to make actions available in the UK right now. Sorry for the false information!

    So there's no way to use autovoice in the UK?

    I just want to record Google assistant saying: "ok here you go" using autovoice. I've downloaded autovoice and bought Tasker, paired my Google home with Android. When I ask :"ok Google ask autovoice to say hello" it replies : autovoice isn't available for the devices set up for British English. I've changed all language inputs that are available on my phone to US English. Doesn't work

    Did you change the phone's language itself to US english?

    Did you reboot your device after doing that? Or maybe clear Google App's data?
