Open Google Drive "Recent" mess

Hi there! Love Join so far! Only hiccup is that when I use Google Drive my "Recent" tab is cluttered with sms files. Is there a way to remove them from this feed, turn off sms backup, or hide them somehow?

 

Thanks for this info! I did go to the link, and upvoted this issue there. Just curious if there had been any development in the past year?

Just posting here to keep this thread alive and to check for any updates in the past 9 months? This is the most frustrating part of the otherwise excellent Join experience because I'm a heavy Google Drive user and use the "Recent" tab a lot to find documents that I've been working on. But since I also text a lot, my Recent tab is filled with the sms files. If there were a workaround on my end I would gladly do it. BTW, I just became a Patron to show my support for your excellent work. Thank you in advance for your response!
