I am new to Tasker and have downloaded Autovera and a few other plug ins, They all seem to work well but I can not get the Slider to work as a dimmer for my lights, in Autovera it gives me the option for "Dimmable Lights" whichj i have chosen but what value do you set the light level to so it functions as a Dimmer and not just a "ON" switch?

You should probably set a value between 0 and 100... Did you try that? :)

Yes, i have set a value between 0 and 100, for e.g 50 and that works but i am wanting to use the slider to dim the lights between 0 and 100, or have a long press to dim down and ramp up, in this possible?

Oh, you mean that the lights should respond as you're moving the slider immediately instead of just after you release it?
