Greetings to ALL from Vancouver, Canada
I am a new member...struggling with HTTP GET Tasker action.
I uploaded a task to my google drive and got a downloadable link to the XML file.
If I put the link in the server / port of a HTTP GET action, specifying Myme Type text/xml, I am not getting the task XML file but rather the whole HTML page source code.
HTTP-GET was supposed to save the data file in %HTTPD variable, but it is saving the HTML page source code rather.
    What am I missing...
    Thanks and Regards.

Downloading files from Google Drive is not so linear. You need to be authenticated to be able to download your files. I recommend using the AutoWeb Download action to get the files :)

    Hi joaomgcd
I installed AutoWeb, but when I try to configure WebService, I get a Web Service window with no options.
    Any advice...
    Regards

Oh right, you need to first import the Google Drive Web Service in the main AutoWeb app :) Can you try that please? Thanks

I am using the following configuration in AutoWeb:
    API:Google Drive
    API Action:Get File Contents
    Don't Authenticate is grayed
Output-->Fields To Get-->Get File Contents Output
    Input:<user_name>:<password>@drive.google.com/open?id=...........
Thanks and sorry to bother you
    Regards

You're not supposed to change the API configuration in the main AutoWeb app. :) Simply use the action in Tasker and that should work.
