Open Join separates message threads due to character bug

Hi, I copy pasted a phone number into textra, one had a ")" and one didn't. Textra was able to send a text message, but Join separated my conversation into two threads, see image below:

you can see one has a ")" and one doesn't. Seems like the fix would be for Join to strip a number of all characters to not create separate threads.

Windows 7 Pro, Chrome latest version

 

I think so. I'll try it out and let you know if I see any more bugs

 

Have the same exact issue... did the version provided here worked?
