This started happening after updating to Windows 10's Fall Creator's Update. Each time a notification is interacted with (e.g., direct reply), the Join main window opens up. It's extremely annoying. Can this be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately that's not up to me to fix, sorry :/ Apparently Microsoft changed the way those notifications work. I'll check it out thanks. What version of windows are you running exactly? (write winver in the cortana search bar)

Is that a beta? Or is it a final release? Thanks

Thanks for looking into it. I've downgraded in the meantime, so let me know what you're able to find. I appreciate your help.

Sorry for the delay! I've now gotten the Windows update and it does not open Join for me when I reply from a notification :/ Very weird!

I tested it on another PC and it works just fine. So I guess it's just this specific PC that's having issues. Can you think of any reason why something like this might be happening that I can investigate?

I really can't think of one :/ The action that happens when you click the reply button is to simply send the response. There's no code there to open the window.. so it must be something specific to your windows installation...

I think I figured it out.
I had a shortcut to Join in my Start menu's Programs folder. Once removed, the issues was resolved. I cannot fathom as to why this would be the cause of the problem, but at least I know what is is now.
