    Hello,

Is it possible to have "wake up screen", option when making a notification - I need that on my S8+ because that's what needs to be enabled for edge lighting to work when notification is received?

    Thanx
    D.

There's no built in way to wake up the screen sorry. Do other app's notifications do that?

Some... not all are compatible with edge lighting. but i.e. SMS received and Viber messages do that....

Hmm, maybe those are notifications that allow you to reply? Can you try adding the reply action to the AutoNotification notification and see if that makes it work?

Sorry, I really don't know what private APIs those notifications are using :( Sorry, wish I could help.

Sure I understand :) This is what I found on xda:

..."for the edge lighting to work, the app has to have a notification setting to wake the screen up.
Textra does, so edge lighting works, as long as the "wake up screen" option is enabled in its notification settings."

Hmm, not sure what setting that is. Maybe try setting the priority to max, add a notification sound and set a vibration pattern. Does that work?

No, it didn't work. Nevermind, as you say, who knows what Samsung did in it's API :)

I managed to get it working with app LightFlow. I just added AutoRemote there, and now it lights up. I have NO idea how this works :)
