The SMS service is enabled on my phone and the remote SMS feature is syncing in my phone and the chrome extension, but not Join Web.

I've tried to disable and enable the SMS service, reinstalling Join on my phone, and even tried to access Join Web through my phone. Join Web was working for me a few days ago but it just recently failed me.

Hi,

I have 2 problems. Using win 10 latest and app latest

1- When a text arrives, the app craches with the following error.

I'm new to autocast and I have a task which uses autocast to cast text to speech to my google home, however, when I pressed play to test it out it fails to work and gives me this message:

AutoCast Not Working

Duplicate text messages

I've been getting duplicate text messages on all my outgoing messages. I'm sending them from my Samsung tablet (Tab S4) to my Samsung phone (Note 10+). Any idea how to stop this? Any idea how to delete the duplicates?

Edit: the duplicates seem to only be on my end. They are both on my tablet (Join app) and my phone (Samsung messaging app).

there is an error prompt on top ".....data transfer full...." i can't remember it exactly

I suggest the following features:
Dragging a file to the device i want to send
after i release the mouse button.
there will be a progress bar (In both device), telling me is it uploading/downloading or what.

I have just switched from Chrome to Brave on the desktop. I can push from the desktop to my other devices without a problem. However, the browser does not appear on any other devices, and when I go into the Join options it shows "This browser: undefined". What can I do?

When sending messages via the Windows 10 app most of the times I get a NullReference exception. It seems that the message gets sent (as I get responses), but it is not shown in the app UI. It is not shown in the phone messaging app as well.

Hi there! Love Join so far! Only hiccup is that when I use Google Drive my "Recent" tab is cluttered with sms files. Is there a way to remove them from this feed, turn off sms backup, or hide them somehow?

I bought premium and want to use Join on my Desktop Browser (Brave Browser) and on my Xiaomi Mi 9t smartphone but none of the features work. I can't send any commands from desktop to Mobile and I can't send anything from Mobile to Desktop. The encryption key on both is the same so I don't really know what the problem is.

I cannot get the clipboard to copy to other devices for some reason. When I copy a simple sentence in an SMS message from my Android phone (Pixel 5), for example, what is copied to my Chrome browser on my Windows 10 laptop looks like this:

With the new Join update, I keep receiving this notification:

Click here to grant permission to trigger the "Command" event in Tasker.

When I click on the notification, it takes me to the app information menu, but I see nothing to enable. In permissions sub-menu, there is nothing related to Tasker. Here is a video of what I mean:

I've been using this feature a lot in order to write a text on my PC and push it to my Android phone.

Lately I've been noticing that when doing so, the app shows a toast "Writing: " with the text I was trying to push (which makes sense), but then - the text actually being written/pasted on my phone is an old text that I pushed some time ago.

Hey there.
I'm facing a strange behaviour when dismissing an app notification in Chrome:
Join sends app 'Diretta' notifications on my pc (windows 10) and if click on 'Dismiss Everywhere' I still have that notification on my phone, but only the title, without notification text (please see pics attached).
I don't face this problem with any other app (notifications completely disappear if I click on Dismiss everywhere.
What's wrong?

I am unable to send join pushes to Eventghost. I have read of similar problems on this forum but I haven’t been able to resolve it. I should say that I have very limited IT skills.
My setup is:
Eventghost is on a Windows 10 Laptop
In Eventghost the Autoremote plugin port is set at 1818
Chrome extension is installed, the Eventghost port is also set at 1818. The Server IP/Host is left blank although I have also tried using the laptop’s IP.

Not sure if this is actually an issue with Join (I suspect probably not).

I have 5 devices. But I'm having trouble with my clipboard is being constantly set to "There is an available update." (without quotes)

I don't have any Tasker tasks that interact with the clipboard. I'm stumped at what could be doing it.

Is there anyway to run logging with Join to see what's setting the clipboard?

Up until recently, I used Life360 in conjunction with IFTTT in order to send location information to my local node-red server so that I can control smart home devices based on where I am. I was using this because most of my devices are controlled by Samsung Smartthings and the location system on there seems to have been broken since the recent upgrade.

ANyway - of course not Life360 and IFTTT are getting divorced in early December so that will stop working.

Hello.

I hope someone can help me.
As noted on the title, I am trying to use Join on a Windows 10 machine and PIA VPN.
Only when Data Encryption (AES-128 CBC) is enabled and Data Authentication is disabled I can receive notifications from Join on an Android phone.
Data Authentication is what would block an active attacker to get between my machine and the VPN servers when information is being sent and received.

Is there any way to get Join to work properly with Data Authentication enabled...
