Solved SMS Chrome extension not working

    Hey,


    I've joined the beta, downloaded the app on my phone and installed the chrome extension. The extension sees my phone but when I hit the SMS button in the extension it opens a popup and just keeps loading and loading and loading and never gets anywhere.

    Is there something I need to be doing? To my knowledge I've properly configured everything on my phone.

    I'm using an HTC One M8 with a 6.0 Google Play rom flashed onto it.

    can you do this please: in the SMS window in chrome, right click it and select "Inspect". In the new window click the "Console" tab. Does it show any messages there?

    I just updated Join on my phone and now i'm having a new issue, join now gives me the following error:

    Couldn't contact your device. These messages might be out of date.   Retry

    Thanks for that. Do you get any errors on your android device when you go to that page on your PC?

    No, no errors as far as i'm aware, but I just tried the extension this morning and it seems to be working fine now, i test sent a text message and it seems all good.

    Not sure what has changed, I think the extension was updated overnight or something because there are no recent updates on my phone.

    Great :) Yeah, I updated the extension and my backend server. That might have fixed it.
