AutoWear Complication text not updating

Hi,

I'm trying to create a complication which will show 'battery percentage' on my Wear watch and on tap it will launch an app (Torch). I got the initial battery text visible on Wear, but it's not updated while the battery percentage drops.

What am I doing wrong?

 

Hi, so it's actually all done in AutoWear - I've created a complication and then configured it to be included on my watch face.

 

This is my config.
I'm using Portions watch face and other complications seem to updst fine

 

Thanks for the reply! What would then be a way to create a complication (widget) with some dynamic text (such as battery percentage) with a custom action when tapped? The standard Wear complication for battery percentage does not do anything when tapped, hency my attempt to create a custom one

 

I know it's an old topic, but I was also searching how to automatically update such complication texts.
I have found a workaround that does not require Tasker : if your watch display is not always on, you can simply set "Command to Execute" to &SCREENON&.
The text will be automatically updated every time the watch screen is on.
