AutoInput Key Suppress

    Device: Galaxy S7
    O/S: Rooted Android 7.0

    Key Suppress on Volume Up/Down and Power Buttons no longer work even with Display On.
    Recent Apps, Home and Back are still working.

    Is this caused by any update in Tasker or AutoInput?
    or perhaps conflict with any other apps?

    Is there any workaround or any alternative with other AutoApps module?

    Any help or comments appreciated ...

    Hi thanks for the report. What happens now? The volume keys still work normally?

    Yes they are and so is the power key ... all those three are not affected by key suppress enable.

    Power key is expected. That one can'be surpressed.
    If you enable system logging in AutoInput can you see those volume key presses in the log?

    Yes ... all well recorded in the log.
    Sorry, this is just crossed in my mind. I am also using Xposed Edge and volume keys are assigned as follows:
    Up - for soft keyboard switching and Down - for screenshot.
    Xposed Edge might supersede the action. I will try again with Xposed Edge disable and come back to you.

    Correct ... XEdge taken over the action. When XEdge disable Key Suppress works OK.

    Very sorry for the false alarm and wasting your valuable time.
