Please help me with this problem:
After entering Notification Categories, a pop-up tells me that the app need to associate with a device. I tap OK. Then it stuck at 'Please Wait Getting devices' screen. After a few seconds, a toast message shows a TimeOutException with the pop-up appearing again to let me tap another OK.
My device is Sony Xperia XZ1. Android version is 8.0.0.

Hi there. Please enable GPS and Wifi to make it work. After you associate the device you can disable them again. Hope this helps!

I'm having this issue as well. I've tried it with all 3 location options (high accuracy, battery saving. and phone only) as well as with Wi-Fi on/off. Do I need actually connect to a Wi-Fi network? I don't have one I can get to any time soon, but that was the only other thing I could think of.

I'm on a galaxy s7, android 8.0.0 if that helps, any help is appreciated.

You shouldn't need to connect. You should simply be able to select the device from the list... So the list doesn't show up at all for you?

Nope it never populates the list, I'll add screen shots.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. AutoNotification will still work for you, but it won't be able to manage categories, which means that you will have to create a different category for each different sound/vibration/led setup you need for your notifications. Wish I knew what's causing it :(

So, what I will need to do is manually set the sound/vibration/led stuff for each custom notification I make or every one I intercept? Just making sure I understood.

You should set the sound/vibration/led stuff for each notification category. :) when you want a different setup you have to have a different category in the AutoNotification action.
