Was using the Chrome extension but it often would be unable to send an SMS. Installed the Windows 10 app, but I can't get it to work - didn't see any instructions - can anyone point me in the right direction?

What was your issue with sending SMS from chrome?
What doesn't work exactly in the windows app? thanks!

I was having trouble getting SMS working with the Chrome extension as well. When I ran the diagnostic tests the 3rd and 4th test items failed (all others were fine). This test continued to fail for over a couple weeks. I would test several times a day at first then once a day or so after that. For some reason the problem went away without doing anything different on my end. The same thing happened prior to factory resetting my phone as well i.e. wasn't sending SMS via extension for a while, then it worked seemingly out of the blue.

I thought I would mention all of this here as you were asking for issues with sms and the extension. However, I would also like to know a little more about Windows 10 app instructions.

Several times a day, SMS sent through the Chrome 'extension' seem to fail.

For the Windows 10 app, nothing at all happens. I get the app 'box' to appear but it is completely non-interactive.

But why do you say that it "seems to fail"? The message is not sent? Is there an error that shows up somewhere?
About the windows app, did you try the latest update?

I believe it often says "could not check if SMS was sent"

Let me clarify here - I can't even get the Windows 10 app to open/start - I choose it from the "all apps" list, and nothing happens, I choose it from the windows 10 app store, I click on "open" from there, and nothing happens, even though it says "this product is installed"

further update - when I restart my computer, I can get the Windows 10 app to start, but I get the blue screen with the join symbols on it, but nothing else, nothing like the screenshots on the Windows 10 app page...
