AutoCast AutoCast Home Screen Realtime Information

This is something I am really wanting to do. I want to replicate something very similar to this.


The thing is, the guy doesn't explain how to do it.

We NEED a tutorial for getting realtime data on a home screen.

 

That's the thing, I don't know how to put the data onto the home replacement screen. I want rto make something very similar to what he did in the video. Nest, traffic, schedule, etc.

 

I managed to get a couple of my ip cameras in the house to show up and my agenda from Google Calendar. It took a TON of screwing around to get things working properly and to get them looking at least kind of how I wanted. I did this when AutoCast was originally released so I don't really remember all of the steps. But what I can tell you is that for both the cameras and the calendar, I basically just embedded a URL to each of them. Syntax, sizing, etc. took quite some time.

 

We need a good tutorial for doing this,
