Kill / Force Stop / close an app non-rooted phone

Hi,

I've searched for hours to see how I can use Tasker to kill or force stop or close an app on my non-rooted phone but I have not been able to find any solutions that work for me.

The closest I have come is to use ADB Wifi to disable an app, and that works. But it's going one step to far. I just want to close an app when certain conditions are met. Eg. Time of the day or power connected etc.

'Kill App' works to make put the app into the background, but it doesn't close it as if swiped away.

I would love some help with this please.
