If I use autoNotification (via Tasker) to create a notification with a URL, the notification will work fine from the notification drop down (clicking it opens the URL), however from the Lollipop lock screen clicking the notification will unlock the device (e.g. it'll go from the lockscreen to the homescreen) but won't open a URL. Tasker notifications, and notifications from other apps work fine, it's only autoNotifcation notifications with a URL defined that seem to have this issue.

Any ideas? I have a Nexus 5 running the latest stock android firmware (5.0.1).

    Thanks
    Rob

Does it work if you set an action on it instead of a URL?

    Hi,
Just tried it. It works fine with an action instead of a URL
    Thanks

You're right, I just tried it myself, and it does do that. Thing is, I just use plain Android stuff to open the URL. Unfortunately this seems like an Android bug to me :( Sorry, I'll see what I can find.

Edit: seems other developers are having the same issue
