I have a GE Link kit and Honeywell WiFi thermostat which I can control from the Wink app on my phone and activate shortcuts on my Wear watch. I'm wondering if I could use AutoWear or a combination of Auto Apps to set up better controls, such as turning on and off individual lights or changing the temperature of the thermostat but I have no idea where to start. Does this sound doable? Links to my equipment and the Android app are below. Thanks!

This looks like a great place to start, thanks. So I'd be using the AutoInput Tasker plugin to create shortcuts, that doesn't sound too difficult. Would I then need AutoWear to activate them from my watch?

Yes, you could then use AutoWear to activate it from your watch. Check these examples: joaoapps.com/autowear/
    Hope this helps!

I've been able to set up tasks to control my lights using AutoInput and profiles to activate the tasks with AutoWear, so far so good. The only issue I'm having is that it looks like my phone has to be on and unlocked for it to work, which kind of defeats the purpose. I couldn't find a way to turn on the screen and unlock it first. Am I missing something something or is this a limitation of Tasker?
