Solved Can we hide Join action toasts?

    The toast I am talking about is the following one:

    *Action* performed on *device*​

    Can we prevent it from being shown when we execute actions?
    Join + Tasker + IFTTT has been working so flawlessly that I don't really require the toast anymore.
    I trust things to go smoothly.

    What you could do is use the Join Send Push action in Tasker directly and send the command in the Text field there :)

    Ah,.. I see...
    I could just send a text command with the event name as text directly to IFTTT.
    All I have now is the short notification that appears in the status bar when the command is sent. I prefer this to the toast message.

    PS: Doesn't that sort of make the Join actions (semi) obsolete in my case?

    And you can disable those notifications in Android Settings > Apps > Join > Notifications :)

    And yes, I also always prefer to use direct messages if I'm sending stuff from Tasker myself. No need for actions in this case.

    haha also... I posted a remark on Reddit about Tasker working in Dex mode all of the sudden.
    Did you have something to do with this???

    I remember reading in a Google groups conversation that you were gonna chat with Samsung.

    Hhmm, I haven't done anything about that actually! Did you maybe get an update on your phone that enabled that? It still doesn't work for me!

    Only update I had was the security update we recently got for february.
    My system is now on G970FOXM4BTA8

    Than the difference HAS to be the Dex software itself...
    Thing is, this did not work for me a week ago.
    So something changed... I don't remember my Mac getting updated recently and Samsung does not show a changelog on their Dex page. But I suspect they did something.

    I feel a little bad now...
    I want you guys to experience this convenience.
