Solved Duplicate Notifications

I am getting two notifications in the chrome extension for every text message I get. Its showing one for messenger, and one for join. I have went into the notification settings on my phone, and unchecked notifications for Join, but its still showing up. Im sure there is some setting out there that I must have checked/unchecked that is causing this, I just cant figure out what it is. Is there any way to limit this to just one notification for each message? Thanks in advance for any help with this.
