Open Any point in keeping AutoRemote?

    Any point in keeping AutoRemote if I already have/use Join on my devices? Anything that AutoRemote can do that Join cannot?

    AutoRemote can communicate directly through local wifi or bluetooth. Other than that, Join is superior :)

    Join doesn't communicate through the local network? So it won't work locally without an internet connection?

    Bummer. Any way to use AutoRemote with Node-Red? I wouldn't want to stop being able to control stuff if my internet goes down

    Actually, Node-RED is the exception :) Join will send stuff through local network for that. Sorry to not mention it before.
