Solved App notifications are not sent to other devices

I have Join. Use it for exceptional things, like being notified if there is power supply at home, etc. Recently learned you can have your app nofiications also published to other devices. However, this doesn't work on my device - Samsung Galaxy a50 (Android 9).

For e.g. Spotify's music app doesn't show the current track etc on the join google chrome extension app.

I am quite sure, I have allowed for notification access (via android settings) for Join. Also I have also enlisted this app in Join for notifications via Join > Settings menu option.

Please advice on what could be the issue.

 

Ok. I figured this one out by self. You need to enable Send Persistant notification.
