AutoRemote How to pass variables from Autoremote to tasker

    @fletch there's no guide for that but it's pretty simple.
    - receive AutoShare from the share menu
    - In tasker react to it with the AutoShare event condition
    - in the Task send an AutoRemote message with %asfile() in the Files field

    OK I *think* I followed the above and it appears to be almost working. When I try to send a file I get a message that the file doesn't exist. But it looks right..the filename is correct . The message comes up fast, so I could not see the complete path-it's also in white which makes it hard to see. Pretty sure the file path is correct, any ideas why I would get this message?

    Also is there a way to set up the task so I get to chose which device I send the file to rather than having to select one in advance??

    What file browser are you sharing the file from?

    To select the device you need to create a Tasker scene where you list your devices and then when you click the device, send the message by device name.
