    Hi there,

is there a way to completly turn off the screen on a LG G Watch R?

If I set a profile with Auto Wear Settings with the option Keep Screen on = disabled, the screen only switched in the OLED standby mode.

If I set the option in Android Wear the screen turns completly off.

    Thanks in advance

    Georg

Unfortunately there's no Android Wear API for that. Sorry!

    Hey joaomgcd,
I just take a look in my Autowear log and I found that:

    Settings - 2015-04-10 00:58:33.171 - Couldn't turn off keep screen on: View=android.widget.ImageView{189b9983 V.ED.... ........ 0,0-0,0} not attached to window manager

But I don't really understand it. Sounds for me like something avoid the screen off setting.

    Any idea?

That happens when you try to turn off the "keep screen on" setting when it was already off. Nothing to worry about :)

    That's bad.
This happens when my script runs and the watch is in OLED standby :-(.

I'm not able to set the display completly off with Auto Wear settings.

If I set this, the screen brightness changed correct, but the display keeps on in powersave mode.
When I change the setting keep screen on to disabled in Android Wear the display goes completly off.

At the same time I get this error in the log while the display is not off, only in powersave.

    Settings - 2015-04-10 00:58:33.171 - Couldn't turn off keep screen on: View=android.widget.ImageView{189b9983 V.ED.... ........ 0,0-0,0} not attached to window manager

But I already initially replied that "Unfortunately there's no Android Wear API for that. Sorry!" :)
I can't make the screen turn off myself. I can just keep it on permanently. Sorry!

Ah sorry my fault, I understood in your initially post that there was no option for the LG G Watch R with the OLED powersave.

I don't get it that this is a general thing.

    Sorry for that.
