Cancel all the below... I rebooted several times and all is again well in the universe.

EventGhost has worked wonderfully for me for months.... possibly even years .... but tonight my log displays the following in bright red reads:
    00:52:57 Error starting plugin: AutoRemote
00:52:57 Traceback (most recent call last) (1710):
    00:52:57 File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\eg\Classes\PluginInstanceInfo.py", line 177, in Start
    00:52:57 self.instance.__start__(*self.args)
    00:52:57 File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\plugins\AutoRemote\__init__.py", line 1889, in __start__
    00:52:57 self.server = MyServer(RequestHandler, port)
    00:52:57 File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\plugins\AutoRemote\__init__.py", line 261, in __init__
    00:52:57 HTTPServer.__init__(self, address, requestHandler)
    00:52:57 File "SocketServer.pyc", line 400, in __init__
    00:52:57 File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\plugins\AutoRemote\__init__.py", line 270, in server_bind
    00:52:57 HTTPServer.server_bind(self)
    00:52:57 File "BaseHTTPServer.pyc", line 108, in server_bind
    00:52:57 File "SocketServer.pyc", line 411, in server_bind
    00:52:57 File "<string>", line 1, in bind
00:52:57 error: [Errno 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions

I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling Autoremote but I have a large number of EG macros and this would take a long time.
    Any suggestions?

Seems you are using the AutoRemote port on another app on your PC? Try changing the port in the EG configuration :)
