    Hello,

I'm thinking about use Autoremote, but I would like to know how does it works internally. Are messages sent to my phone via push or is the autoremote app who "ask" the server. Just to be clear, is autoremote different from doing a query each minute to a rest service? I'm also curious about where is the Autoremote server hosted. I think is on google app engine, but I'm not sure.

    Thanks in advance.

Those messages are pushed to your phone. With it asking for it it would not be instant and use a lot more data which it doesn't. But I have no clue where it is hosted. When you use the link to send messages to devices with AutoRemote it sais joaoapps.com so I guess it's somewhere on Joãos server.

Thank you for clarifying this. I think I read this but I don't know where. Google cloud is very reliable.
