    Hi,

I'd like to add a button to my homescreen that launches YouTube and starts playing a specific playlist, ideally set on shuffle and repeat.

I've used the Browse URL intent of Autoshare which is launching YouTube correctly, but having put the YouTube URL in the Data field, I get a 400 error from YouTube. I will post screenshots below.

I searched and searched and couldn't find anything on this specific topic already - please send me the URL if there is already a similar thread on this, I'm sorry for not finding it. Thanks for your help in advance!

What if you use the Browse Url action in Tasker directly?

    Hi João,
Sorry for only seeing this now. I think what you're suggesting is to get Tasker to open the browser URL using the default browser app e.g. Chrome? I can do that without Tasker - I have added a Chrome widget to my Homescreen, but this opens YouTube in Chrome, and what I want to do is open the playlist in the YouTube app.
    Cheers!

Nope, the Browse URL action will use YouTube as well :) Give it a try.
