Lately I've been getting these errors in tasker:

I have couple of AutoWear related tasks and profiles, is there any way to narrow it down to which one is exactly causing this? I don't want to delete them all one by one until it stops. What does this error even mean?

Those are just developer warnings :) No reason for alarm, nothing will stop working because of that. In my opinion those shouldn't even appear for users.

How does it distinguish between developers and users? I just went through the settings in Tasker and I can't see any developer-related toggles. Popup window is enabled yes, but this is not developer-related feature. It is useful for reporting any errors or other weird stuff going on with tasks.

If these are just debug messages from your app, could you mark them as debug instead of as warning?

Yeah, there's no way to make these go away if you enable error popups. That's why I said this shouldn't even appear: users can't do anything with this info and it won't affect their usage of the app. Only developers will care about this.

I know but error popup is not meant for developers. It is meant for USERS. This thing should not appear here.

In my opinion it is. Tasker's developer shouldn't show those messages there.

I'm waking up an old thread. I know these shouldn't show for users. I use this error popup to help other developers debug, and am (slowly) working on my own Tasker plugins. That said, most of what I get here is Autowear and Autonotification errors, and Tasker works *so* much faster when I disable my Autowear and Autonotification triggers.

Is there any eye toward alleviating these?
