Did you setup the AutoRemote eventghost plugin on port 12345? Maybe 12345 isn't a supported port? Maybe try with 1234?

    Hi,
Fantastic project! One question though: It's working but somehow the keystroke emulator doesn't want to type the letter G.
I can't figure out why it is not typing the letter g. (see the video I made using join screencapture)
    Maybe you know why?

Huh, that's a weird one :) I have no idea why that would happen! Are you able to manually type a "g" after pressing the windows key on your PC? thanks!

That's really weird indeed....Good suggestion: checking: nope can't type the letter g at all when I push the windows button.
Edit: Apparently it has something to do with game mode in windows: windows key +g.
    result: pressing win key and typing g didn't work;
then I tried: win key +S and typing g works
Tried to add a letter in de keystroke emulator and it worked.

I'm a happy man now and have a lot more respect for the letter G.
    Thanks for your fantastic work!

    :D
I have the same issue! For some reason if I press the windows key then I can't type the letter "g" anywhere in windows anymore until I press Win+g (maybe Win+s works too now that you mention it). Glad you found the workaround!

Take in any input, without having to prepregram it. I want to do this in Google Assistant but instead of just taking in the program name, take in either the desktop or laptop (I.e. I say 'open "program" on my desktop, which will open said program on my desktop)

Are you not able to add an additional parameter corresponding to the PC's name?

I can't add a variable at all with Google Assistant's shortcuts/routines. I can add it in AutoVoice/Tasker just fine

Then you should try saying "ask autovoice to..." before your command :)

@joaomgcd is it not possible to intercept "OK GOOGLE" anymore? Are we no longer able to use auto tools without specifically asking auto tools to do it? I really would like to use this, and everything is working except for me having to say ok google ask autovoice to open this app on my pc.

You can do that with Tasker directly :) Simply set Tasker as your assistant and it should work...

@joaomgcd but won't that stop me from using regular ok google commands? I thought that was the entire point of the intercept functionality. Setting it as tasker also doesn't respond to any voice commands. Not even saying tell auto voice to do blah. Will rootkitting my phone enable to intercept again?

Hhmm, you're right, I haven't implemented the "ok google" support in Tasker. Only AutoVoice has that for now. However you can use the Voice Command action in Tasker to call Google assistant :)

@joaomgcd but even auto voice doesn't correctly intercept ok google, even with the device unlocked and screen on.
How can I use tasker voice command? Maybe like you said above I can make OK GOOGLE open google assistant and thus have the same experience, but then I can use all my other automation without saying ok google. That would be ideal. But am I able to trigger tasker voice commands from the lock screen?

Also is it possible for my commands to be sent over cellular data to my pc also? or only via wifi?
