    Hi,
Is port forwarding normally required to send from Autoremote to EG when my mobile device is outside of the LAN?
Currently everything is working, but I am only able to test on my local area network. If I go to a friend's house, will I still be able to send messages from my Android to EG, or can I only do that if I set up port forwarding at home?
I am also considering using your C# plugin (posted on GitHub), so my question also applies to that case. Would I need to forward a port?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I'm just following up to bump this thread a little. I have seen passing mention of port forwarding on a fairly old thread related to this topic, but I cannot find explicit, concrete instructions about what is required for 2-way remote communication with AutoRemote, per the situation above. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who knows for sure what the options are.
I do not have an easy way to test this myself, or I would have done so. Thanks again.
