I'm using AutoRemote and AutoHue with Tasker to send messages to IFTTT and my Philips Hue Bridge respectively. After a short period of time these messages stop sending. If I go into my task, select the AutoRemote step, and go into configuration and then back out the task starts working again but after a short time (hours) it will stop working. I know AutoHue is from a different developer, but I figure the fact that the same thing happens with both apps may provide information. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I think I have a similar issue:

Task is not being run, if I open autoremote and go back to Tasker again it works. It then keeps working for a while, my guess would be a day. Don't know if this is the same as the Google play version issue.
Feels a bit like AR needs to be awakened first to work.

    Maybe this is your issue?

Yeah, could be. Going through the thread now but can't find if it's the same as I'm experiencing. I can "fix" it by running the AR app.

When I had this issue it was my phone's battery optimization settings. It was killing the auto remote app while it was running in the background. I just added those apps to the list of apps not to kill.

Yep, that was the first thing I did. Excluding Tasker and AR from battery optimization.
