AutoVoice Recognize switches away from my app

I've realized that I don't really need continuous mode since I'm activating recognition with a screen tap. So I tried switching to recognize instead, but whenever I start it, my tasker scene goes away - the phone goes to the AutoVoice app, or Tasker, or even my home screen. This happens whether I use the recognize dialog or the notification.

Is there a way to turn that off and have the phone stay where it was when I activated recognize?

 

Add an action to show the scene after the get voice action or an action which preforms a task that shows your scene.... Your scene will still go away but reappear after the get voice dialogue if finished.

 

I thought of that, and it kind of works. But it's kind of hacky.

I don't see why the dialog should hide the scene in the first place - it's a dialog, and they generally pop up over other things. So I'm hoping there's another solution.

For now, as a workaround, I'm just turning on and off continuous when I need it instead of using recognize.
