AutoVoice Looking for an example to learn from

I have a straight forward requirement to replace an RYO voice recognition command and control process.
I want to use Google Assistant, Tasker, Autovoice, and any others I need.
All of the targets of the commands and controls accept intents and have the functionality I need.
I want to be able to say:
"Ok Google, tell <application name> to <action>"
Or
"Ok Google, ask <application name> for <information name>"

For the time being I can do without the shortcuts "tell" and "ask" unless that is easy to do.
I've been doing this computer stuff for 50 years and find that a "simple" example usually is better than trying to get started by reading volumes.
I've played with Tasker, etc before and understand the concepts, I just need a specific example.
This will be running on an Android 7.0 Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet with no Echo or Google Home interaction.
Does anyone have such and example?
