Solved Send SMS don't sync with SMS app.

    Hello,

    I start using the app for trial (and if good purchase) and the texts work but I have a syncronisation problem. The send message's with the join chrome app (currently only app used for remote sending) works perfect but the send message don't synchronise with my phone. When I watch in join it has send, when I send an sms to myself I receive it but outside of join I want to see what people replied to then I the send message isn't inside the sms app.
    Is there a way to solve this problem and let the send join text synchronise with my phone so the send text appears in my sms app?

    Hello,

    I tested the new APK without succes. When I send a text it appears on Join webapp and it still works perfect and I receive the test message. But the send message doesn't sync with the phone. When I press the resync button in the webapp it gets the text from my phone and the send text are gone.
    Seems like the send text is saved in the google drive storage but doesn't get synced with the phone. When reload the texts it overwrite the google drive storage and that causes the send text to be removed (so it seems in my eyes).

    Hi. Unfortunately that's probably an issue with the default SMS app on your phone. The SMS app should be inserting the SMS in the SMS database but it isn't doing so for some reason. :( The only thing I can recommend is trying out a different SMS app...

    I tried textra and the stock application of huawei. Both without succes.
    Any way to see if thats the problem or to force it?

    This issue never happened to me so I have no good way to test it :( That's on a Huawei device I presume? Maybe try not putting Join in Doze?

    I already disabled Doze for it so it would work in background. And it does work perfect. Everything works perfect except the injection of the sms into the sms database wich is important for me to see what I had send. :(

    I have a huwei honor view 10 with Emui 8.0 (android 8.0) on it. Maybe that can be some help to find the problem?

    Did some research of my own and it seems only the default sms app can write in the sms database. This will probably be the problem as join can impossible be the default sms app. Its the same for multiple huawei phones running the latest frimeware. :( If you have a workaround I'm glad to hear it.

    Can you please try to make some other app your default SMS and and set it back to the app you want? Another user said this worked...

    Hello, I am experiencing the same problem with my Google Pixel 2. I am able to send SMS on the join app but I cannot view what I sent on the stock Google messages app.

    Is this a permanent fix or just a band-aid til Google patches it?
