    Hi there,

First up sincere apologies if this has already been answered - I looked and couldn't find it.

Sometimes I see images on websites where I want to share the image and the URL of its page, to either send it to WhatsApp, Twitter, Evernote, etc..

I have set up Autoshare and Tasker to give me a flash of data when I share, to see what has been populated in the Autoshare variables, and when I hold down on an image in Android Chrome, choose "Share image" and then select Autoshare, all the variables are empty except the Files variable. Can I get it to populate the Text field with the URL? This works if I share the actual webpage from the Chrome menu.

Hope this makes sense - thanks for any help in advance!

    Thanks,
    yopat

Did you try sharing with the chrome menu when the actual image is the URL that's open?

    Hi Joao! (I'm a fan)

Thanks, but this doesn't work either. Screenshot attached.

Also, this isn't the use case I need. I want to share an image, and the URL of the page where I found it, not the source JPG URL.

Unfortunately if Chrome doesn't share the original URL then there's nothing AutoShare can do to get it, sorry!
