Project to change ringotne exported as APK not working

    Hi all,

    I have a task to change ringtone. I exported this as APK using app factory and set the task to run when opening the installed APK. But when the app is opened, the ringtone is not changing. Could you please help?

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    You probably need to give the kid app permission to change system settings.

    Thanks. In the App Factory apk there is no system settings option. Also, in APK created by me there is no system option permission even my task require it. Could you please advice where I should allow this? Thank you!

    I found it: after I manually added WRITE_SETTINGS when creating the app, it worked. But normally this is not meant to be added automatically, because the task action requires it.
    After all, I am happy it worked :) Thank you for support!

    Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance
