With Windows 10 creaping up on us soon, wouldnt it be nice to be able to have autoremote talk to Eventghost? so you can control instances from your computers UI directly to eventghost? and also display information in tiles? :)

You can use autoremote with eventghost already. Or is there something not working with W8?
(I'm using W7, AR and eventghost without problem)

I currently use AutoRemote and EventGhost on Windows 8 with no problems, as well.

I should create a native Windows 8 AutoRemote app sometime :)

I use Evenghost on my Windows 8 setup, although I've never considered using it to control a tile (honestly I rarely use the metro UI.) Is it even possible for a 3rd party app such as Eventghost to create/change tiles as you wish? This would be pretty neat.

I dont use the metro UI either, but when Windows 10 is here the UI will be intigrated with the start menu, hence tiles will be usefull for any nerd :)

I think you have to have a native windows 8 app to control a live tile. :)
