You have to use the new Get Location v2 action followed by sending just %gl_map_url. That'll contain the full google maps link :)

Sorry ... Tried that as well (%gl_map_url) only.
Text message also failed to send

The link itself exist and works fine

Text message work OK, for instance if message is: https://maps.google.com/maps or only the maps coordinates

    Edit:
Even if I try to copy & paste and resend the links it failed to send
Also tried to go back to Google Maps older version with no success

    Links works on Whatsapp.

    Samsung S8
    Android 8.0
    Tasker 5.9.2

    Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying.
You say "The link itself exist and works fine" and also "Text message work OK". So what part isn't working?

Sorry for not making myself clear.
The Messages Apps manage to create the text in url form but always failed to send.
If I click the link text created by the apps works and open Maps at specified coordinates

Messages Apps works and succeed in sending any others text or url.
Tried with stock Samsung Messages and Google Messages.

Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

I just tried it and it works for me... Not sure why it's not working. Maybe it's trying to send it as a MMS for some reason?

Just a note for others to know that the problem is nothing to do with Tasker.
It is caused by the messaging apps fail to send the url links.

    Device: Galaxy S8 SM-G950FD Android 8.0
Tried to send the links (without Tasker) on 2 different stock ROM. Also on non rooted device.
Stock messaging apps and two others (Google Messages & TrueCaller) . All text message failed to send.
I guess I have been able to send the message on my older device.
