    Hello,
With the new Join update, I keep receiving this notification:

    " Tasker Commands "
Click here to grant permission to trigger the "Command" event in Tasker.

When I click on the notification, it takes me to the app information menu, but I see nothing to enable. In permissions sub-menu, there is nothing related to Tasker. Here is a video of what I mean:
    This notification keeps coming back...
FYI, I am on Android 9 if that makes a difference.

Any idea how to grant this permission and definitely remove this notification ?

Hi there. Just to clarify, do you have Tasker installed?

    Hi.
Yes, I have Tasker installed. I guess I just needed to update Tasker, I was then able to grant the permission and this notification does not reappear.
    Thanks for your help

I keep getting this same message. It's driving me nuts. I do not have Tasker installed, as most of the automation that I used to use Tasker for has been replaced by other apps or changes in my needs. Is there a way to get rid of this message without installing Tasker?

    Chiming in here...
I keep getting this message on 2 phones:
    * An old LG G4 (Android 7.0) that has Tasker on it
    * Galaxy S20 that doesn't have Tasker on it

(Currently) Join 2.4.0 beta on both. Have been getting it for "several weeks" (don't ask me to be more specific than that).

Tapping the notification sends me to the App info page for Join.
(On the G4 with Tasker) Going Permissions -> ... -> All permissions: Doesn't show anything that looks like Tasker in the "Other app capabilities" list at the bottom. (Didn't even bother on the S20 since Tasker isn't even installed there)

Checking through join's internal Logs (all 3/4 categories) I don't even see any events that line up with when the notification pops so ... eh?

    Mikael,
Is Tasker up to date on your phone with Tasker installed ? It solved the problem in my case.

I had the same issue. Seems that Join sometimes can't request the permission properly or the system can't process it correctly. The solution for me was to clear app's data and reinstall it, then after the initial setup it asked for permission properly
