Killing app using root not working

Hello there!!

A very long time ago I wrote a very simple profile to open/close spotify when headphones are plugged/unplugged. It has always been working as expected, but I don't know why killing the app is not working anymore.
I've granted tasker acces to SuperSU, but when the action "kill app" is executed I don't get any toast message from the SuperSU app (which makes me think that tasker is not even trying to kill the app) and, of course, the app is not killed.

I've tried it with other apps, when the app is open and when it's in the background, etc, and is not working neither.
I have a sony xperia Z2, lollipop 5.0.2 and a custom ROM (I though that this could be a problem, but I've had the same rom for more than 1 year and it has always worked like a charm). I have also other apps using root (like greenify and batterystats) and they are working well.

Have you tried with Autoinput pressing the Back button?

 

Try with the plugins Secure Settings or Taskkill/Taskill as they have the ability to kill apps.

 

hi, i cannot import the intent to open an app from the page to autoshare.
When I click on the intent, the page just gives me another page which I cannot read(letters too small, and will not amplify)
I am using the free version of autoshare
