AutoVoice Alexa not finding Autovoice Alexa Smart Home Device

I'm trying to set up an Alexa routine using Autovoice but for some reason I haven't been able to get Alexa to locate the virtual smart home device that I've set up in the Autovoice app. So far I've tried using the Alexa commands "Refresh Autovoice devices" and "Refresh my devices" but neither of them have worked for me to get alexa to find the device. Does anyone have any solutions for this issue or know what I may be doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
