Can't Fix Android 10 additional permissions

    Is there an easy way to give additional permissions to Join in Android 10. This newbie has tried the ADB-USB connection but I got lost. Thank you. (Trying to get rid of the continuing notification on my device.)

    I'm not sure if this is related or not, but in android 10 when I'm doing the ADB stuff for tasker/join, all works except for this line.

    adb -d shell appops set com.joaomgcd.join SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW allow

    This particular commands reads something like 'no user id exists' as an error message.

    Luckily you can do that manually by enabling the "Display Over Other Apps" permission manually in Android Settings :)
