    Hi,

I found this great guide to set up Tasker with Autoinput to automatically continue navigation while arriving to a waypoint in Google Maps:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/tasker/comments/8pe1dd/how_to_autocontinue_waypoints_in_google_maps/

I got it all set up and it seems to be working except for a little problem; UI update does not seem to notice the the desired text fields when the "welcome to" -screen comes up. Only after i pull down the notifications menu and dismiss it, the update is registered and the task is run.

Could anyone help me with this?

    I think i solved it.

I use an overlay app called Maps Speedometer to display GPS speed over Maps. My app to search text in was only Maps, but when i added Maps Speedometer to the list the task started working as it should.

Nope, i didn't solve it. Sometimes it still requires pulling the top menu up and down to activate the ui update event. That is not good considering my point is to use it hands-free while driving my motorcycle...

Any ideas on what to do?

Unfortunately sometimes the Android accessibility services are not updated with the new screen's info until you manually "refresh" it, like you mention... :( really wish I could help.

Bah... I tested it yesterday with fake gps and it worked every time. Now i tried it with real gps and it still hangs up.

I was wondering how i could get around this... What else could be used to activate the cöick of a button? Or maybe i could assign the click action to a button in my handsfree unit...

Yes, that could work. What hands-free buttons do you have?

I just received a new HF that has 4 buttons with multiple functions. Short press is play/pause, double tap is redial or short is next track, long is volume up etc.

I got this solution with autonotification from an another forum. And this is works.
You have to change the hungarian words to your language.

Event: AutoNotification Intercept [ Configuration:Event Behaviour: true
    Notification Type: Only Created Notifications
    Persistency Type: Non-Persistent Only
    Notification Apps: Térkép
    Notification Title: Navigáció folytatása ]
    Enter: Maps Continue (238)
    A1: AutoInput Action [ Configuration:Type: Text
    Value: Tovább ide:
    Action : Click Timeout (Seconds):10 ]
