AutoNotification AutoNotifcation interceipt isn't reliable for- USB charging this device

I am trying to use AutoNotification Intercept in Tasker for - USB charging this device.
It seems AutoNotifcation isn't intercepting this very reliably, it doesn't work everytime.
I would like to turn on USB tether whenever USB device is connected.
The reason to use AutoNotification instead USB charging is-
I have connected phone to Asus Router that uses phone as USB modem. If I reboot Asus router through its interface, the USB power does not go down.
However, everytime router is booted up, Android phone gets connected as if it is connected to a PC.
And phone shows - USB charging this device
This is when USB tether can be turned on. I would like tether to get enabled automatically if I remotely reboot the router.
I noticed that AutoNotifcation would not always catch this condition. Sometime it does, sometime it doesn't.

I notice this specifically when phone screen is off (phone locked).
Tasker and AutoNotification is not optimized for batter. Running on Nougat.

I checked Log of AutoNotification and I do see that it did miss several times.
How this can be debugged/fixed ?

I did as you asked.
I noticed that it missed notification again.
See attached for log. Also see the screenshot. Screenshot shows USB Charging Device at 18:22 but according to long after 18:16 or 18:17 the app did not catch this again. Hence Tasker task did not get fired again at 18:22 only did once at 18:16.
(I rebooted the external router at 18:20 ish, which causes USB charging device notification again)
By the way, my trial expires tomorrow.
Not sure how I can try more if you need anything.

I actually captured video of my device.
When I reboot my router, USB Charging Device notification does actually go away.
After sometime when router is rebooted, it comes up again (Almost towards end of the video)

So any ideas how this can be debugged further ?
By the way, my trial has just expired. Can you provide evaluation copy for more time to test this.
